Lunch Wednesday 4 October- A Japanese Influenced Tuna Salad



A Japanese Influenced Tuna Salad
1 tuna steak (1bout 170g)
50g wild rocket
1 tomato (about 150g)
200g asparagus spears
150g new potatoes
1 teaspoon wasabi (or to taste)
1 tablespoons soy sauce
1 teaspoon seven spice powder

Spray a frying pan with a little olive oil and sear the tuna steak on either side to your preferred degree of doneness.

Boil or steam the new potaties and asparagus and allow to cool.

Line a plate with rocket leaves. Arrange the tuna steak, new poatoes, asparagus and tomato on the leaves.

Mix together the wasabi & soy sauce and drizzle over the salad.

Garnish the tuna with 7 spice powder.
