Dinner Friday 2 February - Seared Tuna Steak with Salsa and Rice & Peas


Seared Tuna Steak with Salsa and Rice & Peas
120g tuna steak, sprinkled with Montreal Steak seasoning and seared on either side in a non stick skillet
50g long grain rice cooked with 50g frozen petit pois

And to go with the tuna steak:

Quick Salsa
1 fat tomato (about 150g), finely chopped
1 teaspoon sugar
2-3 spring onions, finely sliced
1 tablespoon tomato ketchup
juice of ½ lime
handful fresh coriander leaves
2-3 green chillies, chopped

Combine all ingredients and allow to stand for 20 minutes or so for flavours to develop.
