Lunch Thursday 4 January - Cabbage soup, Dovedale cheese & apples
Just had some leftover cabbage soup, but also had a bit of a treat in the form of some rather nice blue cheese and a crunchy apple. Is there a more perfect combination than tart, crisp apples and creamy, rich blue cheese?
According to the EU Protected Food Names Scheme, Dovedale cheese is a "cylindrical shaped, blue veined, white full fat soft cheese, made from cows milk." It's from Derbyshire!
